I'm on level 48 and my attack is 2000 and defence 2100, my maffia is 250. I notice that a lot of players on my level have like 3000+ in attack and def. Have I level'd up too fast?? I have almost all my skill points on stamina and energy, since I thought that 1+ point in attack or def wouldn't make that big of a difference. But I'm a missing something..? I play a lot and do a lot of robberies to get money to buy new weapons and building my hood, but still my stats are low compared to other players on my level. And since a rob a lot, I also level up fast, so it's kind of a catch 22.
Can anyone give me some tips on how to raise my stats? And should I stop putting my skill points on energy and stam, and put them on attack and def instead? Would very much appreciate some tips!

whats your stamina and energy now? how are you spending your respect points?

My stamina is 27 and energy is 990. Attack 6 and defense 4. I have 429 weapons and 139 armor. I'm spending my respect point's equally on what I need to increase (ex. if I have 50 meele and 100 guns, I buy something from the meele selection).

stamina at 27 is pretty decent but you lack lots of energy still. as you progress on, you will find the job quests needing more energy to do. some needing as much as 2k plus energy to complete.

as for respect points, try to fill up 1 component at a time. your mob can can use 1x melee, 1x gun, 1x amour and 1x car each and the total number of 'manpower' you can use is 5x your current level which is 48x5.

if you think you want to fill up your mob with enough melee first then concentrate on it. weapons bought with respect points are pretty good and wont be replaced too easily (example is tommy gun). vehicles can wait till you are almost done with the other 3 components as they are really expensive to buy.

You need to quit leveling up for a while, spend money of weapons and armor. Each mafia member can use 1 melee, 1 attack, 1 armor and 1 vehicle. Right now you have about 100 mafia member going into battle with no armor.

The hardest thing to do is be patient. I too like to rob, but I have chilled for a while because of the leveling up. I am camping on my property and ramping up my weapons and defense cache. You will need to do the same.

Okey, then I will chill for a while and try to make some money off my hood. Thanks for all the advices! It will take a long time though to only rely on my income...

if need to, find laudromats. it may sound stupid but a level 10 laundro can give you 75bucks a hit 2exp and 2 respect points. at least you have the money and respect pts without too much exp.

I would respectfully disagree that she lacks energy. I think her 990 is sufficient for now. The problem with having high energy levels is that it takes a long, long, long time to get it full charged unless you're using gold to ramp up energy quickly. Even when using the 20 gold, it only ramps you up by 1000 no matter how much higher your energy count is. I find that having more stamina to do robberies and attacks is much better.

there's no right or wrong with energy levels. ultimately she will have problems doing job quest as sht progresses on. high stamina or energy of course is own style of playing. : ) but 1 thing for sure is she needs more armor.

Find weaker rivals if you can and fight, fight, fight. Sometimes when you win battles you get loot like guns, knives, and boxer shorts lol off of enemies, and the att/def # from those items add up when you start accumulating a lot of them.

I know you might think you're weak, but there are probably a few people you can go after.

yes JJ's right. go for fights whenever you can. even if u win only 2-3 outta 10, there bound to be loots you can pick up and it gives you extra atk/def now and then when you win and get the loot.

Good points. I am finding out that at some point, weaker players (including myself) have to camp out to become stronger. I don't think you should stop robbing, though. Stop missions and fighting (too much XP), but the best way to get stronger is with respect.
So keep robbing, but rob efficiently. Go for high respect buildings, esp clothing stores. chinese & italian restaurants, diners and collection agencies are also good. Use the respect to gear up. Use cash to upgrade your buildings.
Yes, you will level up a little, but you will do so slowly while getting much stronger.
Right now I am concentrating on equipping all mafia with armor and in 1 week have gone from about lvl 48, att 1800, def 2000 to lvl52 att 2500 def 2800.
Just to point out how valuable respect gear is. For example, night vision binoculars (cost 300 resp. att 16/def16) compared to tactical vest (only att6/def12)...and it cost $180,000!

Lvling energy past 1200 is stupid because it will never fill up all the way. Even if you are asleep it all take about 6 hours. Stamina is more practical

that depends on how long he/she wants to sleep? LOL

Amber, You have leveled up too quickly. From here you have two options: Option 1: Stop doing any attacks, robberies, missions (Anything to gain exp.) for a loooong time. This is probably going to get kinda boring. What you need to do is focus on your economy. Spend a while upgrading your money making buildings. Focus solely on that, all your money should go into upgrading buildings. It's going to take a while but try to get your hourly income up to at least 8k. for your level more would be better.

Option 2: Start over and progress slowly. When I first started the game I leveled up too fast, and at level 35 i was very weak, so i decided rather than just hanging out at 35 forever I wanted to just start fresh. I took my time and now I'm level 21, and I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, but I have not encountered anyone at my level with better stats. If you decide to go this way I would offer 2 bits of advice. 1, you should always be upgrading a building. 2, don't put any skill points into energy or stamina. at least not until much later. I put all mine into attack. You don't want to progress too quickly anyway so there's no point to add points to energy and stamina. Also my understanding is that when you put points into attack and defense it doesn't simply add those points, there's also some sort of multiplier involved, making them have more of an impact. I don't know for a fact that's true, it's just what I've heard, but I never lose attacks, and I think that has something to do with it.

Okay, so I have red all of your very great thoughts. I won't upgrade my energy more since it won't make any difference. It builds up too slow. And yes, I try to get as much respect-points as I can, so I won't stop with the robbing. I will stop with the goals though for now and just try to build up my hood more and buy equipment. It's not that I have VERY low stats for my level, I just find them a little below average. So I usually don't have a problem with robberies, just attacks.

Do any of you know a good building/person (on the map) that gives me a lot of money but not so much xp..?

To Gunn: I have a little bit over 8k in hourly income and I'm always upgrading and expanding. But I should probably put even more money into my hood to raise the k/h.

That's good, you're not too bad off then. But you should definitely work on getting it even higher. You can never have too much money! :)

Gunn, how did you start over? I wanted to but couldn't.

I had one acct on my iphone, then I started another on my ipod, but I would think if you emailed mobile@funzio.com they would be able to help you do it on the same device, have you tried that?

If you have and they can't and you happen to have a spare ipod or whatever, I know that if you start another game on another device, funzio can switch them, so your new game will be moved to your primary device and your old one goes to your secondary.

I know when I get my new iPhone in December, I will be starting a new game, so I will have two running at once.

I may never get anything done ever again.

Thanks gunn. I did try that last week. They emailed back saying that they do not provide that service at this time. Guess the only way is to switch devices. Oh well, I've begun to slow down and rebuild with help from some good tips I got on here

Can someone explane for me something

When attacking a rival and you get a loot from it like boxershorts or a wrestling mask, the next attack it stays in the screen and the next also and then you get the wrestling mask with a pistol or whatever and so on sometimes you get 3 loots with 5 attacks.
Now my question, why you only get 1 mask and 1 pistol when it gives you more in when attacking ?

nvbealone
09-27-2011, 12:28 PM
@k@le

when you attack in the rival list (which you only can do so), you will get to keep the loot but repeated wins will not be counted eventhough you get 2 mask (only 1 is counted). if you want to keep multiple loot, it will be good to close the fight result window and press the attack again in the rival list. that way, you get to keep the 2nd loot is you do get it again.

sorry to be contrary nvbealone, but K@le, the fact that it shows the loot over and over isn't saying that you've won it again, it's just showing you what you've looted so far in this series of attacks. If you loot a second item in the same series of attacks against the same person, it will show up next to the first item you've looted.

but i think the closing of window and fighting again do help on multiple loot. ive monitored so far it does add up. will continue to monitor it. :)

You are kinda screwed but here is a way.

Save your money and focus on economy. Make sure every one of your mafia members is equipped with at least a melee, gun and armor.

For melee = steel garrote is ridiculously good for 50K a piece but make sure everyone in your mob has at least Brass Knuckles (3ATK) or better.
for guns = get Tommy guns if buying one will net you 8+ ATK otherwise PVP is a good way to pick up decent gus Augs (7 ATK), M4 guns (9ATK but pretty rare) hunting rifle (5 ATK) M14 Sniper rifle (9ATK)

I find it is not really worthwhile spending cash on guns since you get so many through missions and pvp.

armor = I buy armored gloves, night vision goggles are good as well but I prefer to stack up on Yamahas first

vehicles = Yamaha @ 325 respect I find it a really good deal considering you would have to spend 12.5 million to get something with more attack and 5 million with the same attack.

do as many of the pvp missions you can (winning streak, thug life, championship).

how can we do it when our stats are so low and all the rivals are so high ?!? Can't get respect point neither... we're doomed !?!

One thing I forgot is you can do is delete people in your maffia. If you are severely under equipped than you won't lose too much ATK but you will be able to fight people with less maffia if you delete enough and you can re-add people as you gear up again.

If you delete someone in your maffia and only lose <6 ATK than it is probably worth it.

That said thug life and championship goals require you to fight people with a certain number of maffia though.

I tried that but when I have removed the person, it still says view friends profile so I couldn't attack them.
