Guys.. interested to know how you people allocate your skill points? Does that really matter? Is it that u add more to ur attack and your attack will boost wherelse if nothing added to your defense and you will normally lose while being attack as your defend is low?

i guess it all depends on ur style of play the game, if u like pvp no focus in mission and economy boost ur attack and stamina. if u like go on on maps and focus set to economy put em in energy and defence id say. just find a good middle. didnt really figure out how the atk and def skillpoints work but i think its kinda used with the multiplier so u might need em in the high levels when stats and units gettin closer together, just to get that piece of advantage to pwn. i mostly put 1 def one atk and keep one for next level to do stamina one or 2 totally ignoring energy atm coz i think u just level up way too fast if u go on missions due to what they offer

Energy only !
The game is not set up for attacking or raiding, for every attack or raid you will lose more $ worth of troops than you gain in the raid. So offensive (PvP) play is not economic.
Most people that continue to play the game after the first week, will realise this and attacks will drop off, so defense will be useless - as long asyou collect from your money buildings.
Plus, the rewards for playing the story are massive compared to CC, so the Devs have definately set out to make this a story based game.
So add energy, energy, energy.

too bad since its a online war game which should be more supposed to be pvp .. but yes the lose on troops is ridiculous. even with gold units and x2 atk/def compared to enemy i lose frigates and valor units. whats the point in winning 1 valor to lose a 75 valor combat boat? need change strategy maybe.

Looking forward to seeing your name pop into my rivals list since I went and de-skunked my allies list then we'll see how handy my 55 attack and defense skill points are. I'm thinking vitus is correct, these are some sort of multiplier so the larger the number the better and this seems to br more useful In the higher levels.
The point in doing pvp and losingna 75 valor boat is making back 800 valor through one goal mission. You guys can sit there and not attack and see how that treats you, but in the end you'll never be able to rise up if you dont attack.

So whats the morale of this game? energy onli? and needa allocate the pts evenly?
I started out putting more points into attack and defense but that didnt seem to help me whatsoever. So now i put all my points into energy. Currently have 15 stamina as well, helps with attack missions.

I'm gonna get around 30 stamina, 70 attack and 70 defence around level 50 then your see a difference... The range in which you can attack will be much greater

That's probably not a bad place to be, I was following the prompt to add energy but was basically adding 1 attack and 1 defence as well on most level ups. I think if you have build a strong economic base the perhaps having lots of energy might be useful as you will need bags of cash to complete the higher map missions because they make you build a lot of different units to attack or destroy the opponents or buildings.
I'm now at L59 with 55 attack 55 defense, 480 energy and 22 stamina. You also get skill pts for completing map missions btw. The defense skill has helped me when attacked as I've had one person who has a higher attack value than my defense value loose consistantly and my guess is that the defense skill pts are doing it. Back in the lower levels I never really noticed an advantage but do now. My guess is that the attack works in a similar fashion so having 70 of each would be even better.

Work out how often you play. Say you log in hourly. That's time for 300 energy and 20 stamina to replenish. Beyond that as you progress through the campaign locations the missions require more and more energy per hit to complete so boosting energy is beneficial.
I personally can't see the point in putting points in attack or defence. As your alliance size increases your total stats seem to get more of a boost from the units you purchase. When I level, I put 1 point in energy and 1 (2) points in stamina.
Unless of course there is some kind of multiplier that each point in attack or defence increases your total units says by 1%. Then attack and defence points are definitely worthwhile.
Funzio has always been vague about this. I never understood how I lost fights in MW when I had several thousand more mafia defence than the person attacking me. For now I'll accept the losses and count on just have a large income to outweigh any losses

The attack and defence skill points are not a simple addition... It works as a multiplier so more the better that's a nice place agent orange that's how my cc char works....
The map missions... Are they really benificaial? I mean what's the point best loot anyone has got?
Pm me if you wouldnt like to disclose

I just figure there is more to the game than just having a high defence base. I do missions to complete all aspects of the game and try to balance that with staying competitive in terms of my attack/ defence. I like to conquer all the achievements in time

frankly, i fail to see the point of allocating skill pts on both of attack and defense.
those two attributes wont work simultaneously.
"attack" improves the chance you win when "you attack someone".
"defense" only works when "someone attacks you". at least, that my understanding after reading the "help"...
not too hard to guess, the original intention of the gamer inventors is that:
if you are an aggressive player who likes to oppress ppl, upgrade "attack" and "stamina".
if you are a defensive player who likes to do system missions, upgrade "energy" and "defense".
trust me, "defense" helps when others attack you. its not obvious at early stage. but when defense grows to around 30, you will see the difference
