View Full Version : All units vanished in Modern War

I submitted an in game support request on this but days later no response.

Been playing modern war for weeks and built up a nice alliance. Last week, every single unit I had, even the indestructible ones and the rewards for special events (such as playing Kingdom age) and for completing missions all vanished.

The buildings are all there, but EVERYTHING else is gone.

You may have to roll my account back to the last back up to restore my units.

Sort of frustrating to spend weeks building up a game and then have a system hiccup on your side wipe it all out and then have no one care enough in tech support to even respond to the in game support request(s) I filed.

Two things I would try:
1: reboot machine or powercycle phone.
2: delete app and re-install. It will remember you

If that doesn't work, def email support

OK tried your first suggestion. Powering my IPad all the way off and back on didn't help.

Then tried your second suggestion. Deleted and re-installed modern war. No help either. Came back in to a message telling me I didn't have enough units (duh, since they vanished) and to go buy some.

Still got same problem. No units I bought. No special event reward units. No quest reward units. No looted units. No units of any kind at all.

I submitted multiple support requests through the in game support link. No response in days to either of them.

Thank you very much for the info on the forums. I appreciate the effort even if it didn't fix the problem.

Next step, I'll try the e-mail address you gave me. Doubt it'll do anything when none of the other support requests got a response, but worth at least a try.

If that still doesn't help, I guess I'll just delete their games from my IPad. No sense putting weeks and weeks of effort into a game and just having it all vanish, with no interest on their part in recovering it.

Yah I just lost my whole MW account. 3-4 months of playing. My poor little soilder is sitting all alone in a big open area.. FFS

Customer service got back to me 2 times and said they would look into it and then closed the ticket.. Looks like the gold I spent was worth nothing. Be careful

hi

my MW app buildings kept on disappearing and my awarded gold was not counting up so i googled it and followed the suggestions to uninstall/ reinstall the app. this restored the buildings, however they kept disappearing after a short time.

also i received gold awards that did not count up in my old counter.

another bug i found was that traveling to the enemy attack and oil rig sites crashed the app so again i uninstalled / reinstalled however and now the app dies every time i try to open it.

pls can you tell me how i can get this working again as i have been playing a while now and would like to continue playing.

I synced my iPhone with my laptop for the usual maintenance and updates. When it was done, I started MW and noticed my numbers were off from where they previously were. I checked my inventory and a lot of my indestructible items that I had either payed gold for or earned other ways were gone. I am not happy at all about this as I have (as many of you have) spent a lot of time playing and building myself up. I have sent an email to support and hopefully will hear something back. But, judging from the above comments, I am not too hopeful.

Please, let me know if anyone has any type of solution
