I'm at level 21 now with Attack: 26, Defense: 27, Energy: 500. Is there a specific formula for combining that with weapon, armor and vehicle? Or do you just add them up?

Also I saw on another thread a player says that he has 40K attack points. I currently get 3 skill points to use each time I level and 1 skill point once I finish a city -- how will I ever get to that kind of scores? If the weapons on later levels give 40K attack points, then I'm definitely wasting my skill points on attack and defense when I should spend it on energy instead. Advice?

i have way over 200,000 for a and d... but i'm hitting level 100... you get 3 skill points per each time you level... you also get 1 skill point each time you complete an area... you can complete an area 5 times each... currently 35 open areas with at least 3 more coming soon... 35 x 5 is 180 skill points in addition to the 3 you get each level... it adds up...there are various strategies... if you plan to fight and rob (and get fought and robbed in return) put a lot into a and d... if you just plan to do the areas put it into energy... my strategy is / was to keep a close balance of a and d... and energy in the 2000 to 3000 range... the game is a combination... areas and fighting / robbing... just decide what you want to concentrate on... regards equipment... number 1... the game is optimized for 4 mafia PER YOUR LEVEL... they need weapons, armor, vehicles...you need to provide them... any piece of equipment... be it weapon armor vehicle has both an a & d stat...

where did you get that weapons alone will add 40k to attack points... that's not correct... a and d is a combination - skill points - number of USABLE mafia and how well and completely you've equipped them...

35 x 5 = 175 skill points for completing for areas.
100 levels = 300 skill points.

I'm going to need 2000 energy which takes out 190 points (we start with 100 energy) - so now I have 285 points left.

How do you turn 285 points into 200K attack?

again... not JUST skill points... see the rest of the reply regards number of mafia, equipping etc...it's a combination of all the factors... AND the developers aren't quick on clarifying the most influential factors...

OK. My there's a section in my profile that says:
* total item attack: 1166
* total item defense: 1118

Are those the ones used in battles?

I'm going to try adding up scores from all mafia members (I have only 8, so it's possible) to see if the numbers match up.

Thanks for you help. :)

I have another question. How does the "collection boost" buildings work? I'm short on steels so I'm being careful building stuff.

the collection boost (collection agency and loan shark office) work great for both steel and energy from the fitness gym / coffee shop... there's some coordinating you need to work out... you only get a certain number of uses... i THINK 10...you probably want to upgrade them as quickly as you can... also upgrade steel mill and if you have it the steel foundry... on the mill at level 3 you get 6 steels...

regards the a and d ... i strongly suggest you get more cc mafia friends...NOT thousands but around 80 total for a start... that's a MAJOR reason your a & d are low...you should be at 84 for your level of 21...just a suggestion...good luck...

lol This is kind of sad.
I'm just level 9 and I have...

4088 Attack
7142 Defense

With only 33 Mafia Members. xD

lol This is kind of sad.

Well not really, at my level I can still easily find a rival with 3 to 5 mafia members. The average seems to be around 5. Since people will have to add strangers to their facebook friend list to meet the recommended 4 members per level, not a lot of people actually do that. Surely I will have to when I reach later levels, I will need more members. I'll only need to add enough just so I'll still be able to attack people.

you're mistaken about players not adding strangers look at the old cc discussion board... QUITE A FEW IF NOT MOST DO...nothing but add me posts ...your question was about attack and defense...you may find rivals in your level with that few of players... but you will also probably find their a and d isn't very good either...
