Build times??

Is there a way to reduce build / upgrade times?
I see a number of people with level 4 shipyards and war factories and airports.
Yet I have 24 hours per upgrade, so in order to get level 4 of each is gonna take me minimum of 12 days???
It's poo takeing 24 hours per upgrade, plus expansion is now 24 hours and I'm only on my 5th!!

Using the gold they have to speed up the upgrades?

I might do that too eventually. I don't know what i want to spend 10 gold on yet.

The times increase as you progress through the game! I thought when I started playing that times also increased based on your level so the higher you go the longer it takes, but that was before the us release and things keep changing.

Most uprades take more than a day for me 2-3 is normal.

Crime city is like that for me now.
My lowest time upgrade is 24 hours for one building, and average is around 30+ for a building once it becomes a certain level.

150 gold for even the most basic upgrade, could get costly !

Oh i know it could.

I saw some people already at low levels with gold items as well. really boost their stats up a lot too and they are not exhaustible either.
