Purchasing it is the only way, other than the 10 bars you are given at the beginning.

Actually, if you check out 'Add Funds' in the menu, you should see a bar at the bottom of the page which will give you one free gold bar every day (on average) and/or will redirect you to Tap Joy where you can mine as much free gold as you have patience.... Yep yep what TC said. I too have brought in over 400g from tap joy. Try it out.. It will become a daily ritual for you
