Whether he’s expected to cause me to feel think about Robin Williams as Mork or you cannot I don’t know, but he does.
The central action with the film takes pace in 1969. The writers don’t have as enjoyable achievable perhaps you might expect. The truth is MIB3 delivers a somewhat lower gag count than its two predecessors. It’s not entirely unfunny, but there’s little of the fast-flowing repartee that - for example - Robert Downey Junior benefitted from in The Avengers.
Provided that we’re last 1969 for some in the film (and science fans will instantly watch a pretty special month in 1969 as well) I was expecting more period tourism, more historical cameos plus more Austin Powers fish away from water shenanigans altogether.

Midnight Cowboy and Coogan’s Bluff brought that kind of exotic loopiness to mainstream movies four decades ago. It’s an atmosphere rich with possibilities. Director Barry Sonnenfeld essentially throws it away here.
Perhaps he thought more detail may be lost for the Ben 10 generation that could appear to be this film’s key audience. Of course, they weren’t even born when Men In Black 2 came out.
Oh, and there’s a gag from the trailer that’s not within the film. I’m keeping a summary of these. It begins with The Transporter and it’s getting long.
The 3D was especially impressive in this film. Or even my old eyes are just finally getting used to this process. It’s many of the most natural-looking 3D I’ve seen until now.
There’s a tricksy loose-end collection plot device towards the end that truly creates more loose ends, in terms of the franchise, laptop or computer fixes. Still, we’re not in charge of a science lesson, we’re in charge of fun. As well as for all my nitpicking Men In Black 3 delivers fun.
MIB3 is a perfectly good movie. Kids, I believe, will enjoy it especially. Some parents will find there’s a shade an excessive amount of bad language from it for any film seems to be marketed so strongly into a middle-school demographic.
Men In Black 3’s central problem won’t function as BBFC though. Its central concern is by investing in a cinema ecosystem dominated by the irresistible forces of Spider-man, The Dark Knight Rises, Prometheus, The Avengers along with the Hunger Games there’s not much of a ton of space left just for another Summer blockbuster.
