What the hell is with the combat?

So I have rarely if ever won a fight in PVP, im currently lvl 20, Attack 1186, def 1669, I have 180 units, 139 alliance members.

When I attack people several hundred attack/def below me with maybe 80 less alliance members then me, I lose EVERYTIME.

Also Today I was attacked by someone with 2000+ Attack, and 2500 Def and they lost everytime.

The other thing I noticed is the game will say that someone has say 700 attack, but after the attack on the page that says "YOU LOST" there attack will be much higher, like 900.

Is this system bugged? I am on IOS.

I stopped wasting time attacking others, cause I was losing all my money to refilling my army.

I am finding it the opposite than you when it comes to people attacking me. Many, many times I get attack by someone with stats way less than me and I still LOSE. I know that the skill points come into play, but it seems to be a little off to me.

Agree with Colonelbob here - I have my Army Defense Skill well above 70+ and had my Army Defense well over 4K yet those attacking with much lower stats seem to win.

I just don't get the Battle Mechanics and FUNZIO has still yet to post any sort of Game Guide on how its Supposed to work. Plus the fact they are always changing the rules around for battles, one day something works the way you think it's supposed to work and another day it's not.

What Gives? And a Response to peoples questions on here would be really nice L. Fizzle

Yeah, the skill points can't add that much to the formula. I'm experiencing the same results. Attack someone with 80% of my attack score and lose. I was also attacked by someone with 30% more and they lost. What gives? Is chance that much of a component? If so, I'm foregoing PvP and just doing PvE. I'm on iOS too, but this wasn't addressed over there.

Combat system is getting way more random the higher in levels I go. I have epic units about 60 T2 and T3 mech. But when I fight (attack) someone with only 40 knights I lose. This makes no sense whatsoever. You can't tell me it chance because I fought seven times and won only once. You can't tell me it's stats, because I have PVP-only gears, and also some high level gear from maps. My units are much more elite on every single statistic. WTF?

I am yet to attack anyone (apart from what you had to do for the tutorial) and am just messing about on KA as I play MW a bit more.

I am level 26 and every one of my skill points have gone on defence.

I get attacked all the time however I rarely loose and usually end up with about £10,000 a day from others failed attempts.

This is getting old, too. Why would I want to play a game where I lose all the time? I'm sick of losing, CONSTANTLY, people who have much less everything than me. Also, it should be forwarned that it is NOT worth buying jems to get those really good items. They mean very little in combat. Almost nothing. True, they can never be killed....but their 'numbers' are not indicative of anything and they bring little to the fight. Who is running this company?

KA combat isn't that bad, yet, but why can't KA and MW combat be more like CC?

the game seems no management at all, a level 130 (Player ID: Pendragon) keeps attack me (level 69), of course I lost every time. How come this can happen, it is cheating, if the game allow this happen, it ends up lost players for sure. Only stupid pays to play....it is not a fair game...As you know, once you but fancy army unit, you still got attacked by other players..
