I killed "Undying Abaad" at the Temple of Abaad, but didn't get credit for it. And so I went and tried to fight a "Desert Bandit", and it just increments the attack number without doing anything. No error messages, just doesn't do anything. Refreshed the game page, and then I get credit for Abaad.
