A Call to Revenge or Retaliation

I would really like to see a more 'social' aspect to revenging against another attacker. This was done in games like Mafia Wars. There are several reasons I think this would be a huge benefit to the game.

If an attacker is repeatedly attacking the same person, over and over, being able to ask your allies to help in retaliation, would go a long way towards giving players an incentive to recruit more allies.

This would also detour someone from attacking a weaker player, all day long (something that I am experiencing right now, lo).

    Just a thought...

I believe the social aspect is there to an extent. For myself, I adopt (as I believe some of the leading players here do too) of posting a response (not a revenge attack) on the attacker's board. Basically, if you continue attacking me, then I will devote all my time and energy to building up just to attack you, and frankly you won't have time to do much else which would be boring for both of us. The second thing is, don't hit revenge in the first place because that just leaves a "calling card" with the attacker which he can use to repeatedly attack you. Without the calling card, it would be pretty random chance for him to find you again. You'll eventually fall off his radar when your name gets pushed off his News board by new items. Thirdly, nothing at preent to stop you having alliances to mass attack an attacker. Fourthly (and this is usually the most effective), remember to vault your gold. If he doesn't get anything in the first attack, then he will usually leave you alone unless he is farming HP (which you will probably have to accept until you fall off his radar). Of course, if the attacker is gunning for you specifically to destroy you, then there's not much you can do but fight back, defend more strongly, get a stronger alliance member to help or capitulate.

    add powerful allies

It wouldn't likely help you with people like me to ask for help, as I add only allies that could dump me (and I'm one of the stronger level 51 players). Most of the stronger players are on my side already....it wouldn't help to get a load of weaker players to attack me...they'd just bounce off me. Here is my advice to you:
1/ Get rich fast...this is the key...if you had loads of gold coming in, then you can do anything faster (and I Don't pay real money to get gems and gold either) -> upgrade both your silos to level 10 asap...they have the best payback.
2/ Don't level up too quick - take your time to build your kingdom (or you'll get kicked in the head too often)
3/ Don't add to many allies Too fast - add them at a steady rate (to ensure that you have 3 weapons, armour, and units per ally).
4/ Add mostly 'Hero Strength'...this will make you more money and get you better 'loot' faster
5/ Don't battle too much...except for questing...you typically don't come too far ahead after you consider the units lost (sure I win most battles, but the payoff isn't that great).
