Rebuilding an Army

My army got wiped out entirely in one day, one player attacked and took out 24 units in one attack!
The PITA about this is rebuilding and food??? I've got a production rate of 740 an hour but I can only build my army bit by bit. If I had a 70 unit army why can't I have half that number training at one time?

Build more storage? I tend to keep my food storage at 1/3 my production, since many units cost double their upkeep in food to produce this means I need to setup 6 buildings training at 20 minute intervals to rebuild an entire army.

I agree with you. Its first time checking around to see how players are doing around here but it seems we are playing different game. I was ready to suggest the player to slow down and build his economies but I can't as I don't know the differences.
