It doesnt, fully equipped means having armor and weapons.

Having the allies without the gear to equip them with is reckless.

Of course the stronger the equipment the better.

Well, seeing how your stats are higher than some of the "whales" on that list and you're only lvl 67 i would say you are ready for prime time. Just keep adding fully equipped allies and you will kickass.

No doubt, I look for rivals that don't have fully equipped allies. And, Funzio made it so easy for us to see if we have enough. There is no reason not to have a fully equipped army. (is it called an army in KA?)
The low-middle maps give plenty for starters.

I'm almost ready to look for better, stronger stuff. I need more money to hit some of the monsters on the last map.

Yeah, the initial investment can be a tad painful but pays off big time in the long run. Just go to the highest map and go to town, you wont regret it.
