FYI, Marine had the brigand and osprey posted for a long time (see link below). Not sure where Q Raider gets the Silent Thunder. I can't rememebr that drop, but when I tested it, it cost too much energy IMO over the Brigand. I only have 2 Silent Thunders currently, one from the boss long ago, the other was a drop outside of it. But to get it to drop cost me more energy than it cost me to get 2-3 Brigands. Maybe you will have better luck. I've been trying other locations to see if I stumble on others.

I too would say loot units are not always a waste of energy. Don't forget it is free and the one's I like to farm also drop cash which is an added bonus. Never been lucky with the big value loot so far but some of the lower value units are still worth it.

For players like Q who depends on raids and attcks for economy, farming the high end loots unit is not really a good idea. They are as fragile as the valor. I had 41 wave breakers and now down to 33 and i only attackd players that give me no casualties. 2 of them lost (in a row) when i attacked a player with similar stats. If i were to actively attacking players with similar or stronger rivals, all of them wud be gone by now.

I'm expecting to lose them all once i finish with valor missions and going for BPs

If you're a pve player then yeah, go for it.

seems like funzio have made it so that if you farm units they will be wiped out double quick , if your a heavy pvp may not be worth farming but if you are camping then it could be usefull for a while until you go on the attack and lose all the farmed stuff .

the prices I listed already calculate how much cash loot you receive while farming... I deducted it from the railgun price of the energy spent for getting the unit. It did reduce the price but not significantly.
