Epic Boss event: another costly event

What cure potion? I don't see it. Does KA have it or are you referring to MW?

I won the first MW event for free (I could only get to level 16 on the second two MW events), I was about the same level I am now in KA. I have finished Boss 9 using only 3 free hits so I am optomistic about getting to at least 30 using only gold.

how do you know what level you would need to start using gems in order to defeat him?

Red that is very easy
EVERYBODY can do a max of 13 hits within the 2 hour limit
if you use the "gold" option to kill the boss, then when you can determine how many hit will it take you to kill him, you can easyly determine when you will not be able to kill him withoug GEMS

EX: if boss #6 took you 12 gold hits to kill him then 100% sure you will not kill #7 with 13 gold hits (his Health is raised by about 20% of prior health

for me boss #5 to kill him I did total damage of 406,344 (5 gold hits and 2 free hits) and for boss #6 I did total damage of 534,926 (7 gold hits and 2 free hits). As you can see boss #6 health increase by 128,582 or 24%
as you can see I have already use 9 hits out of the possible 13 (18 if I level up during the fight) I only have 4 more hits for the next fights and probably will be able to kill 2/3 bosses max, before having to use GEMS for cure potions

Doing the average of ALL 6 bosses I have kill boss #6 health was 6.67 times higher than boss #1 health or an average increase in health of 31% per level (this is in my personal experience with the boss)

Fight a boss till you have no more health left and then read the message it tells you

I like the event becasue I will get at least 10 free units, but will not spend any money to kill the other 30 bosses just to get a whole bunch of common units and a "prize" with only 700 attack
It would cost me over 2,000 gems (maybe if I am lucky) to get to 40, if I had the gems, I would rather use them to buy Units that will give me way more than the combine stats of the prize and another 30 common units

I finished my Boss 6 in 12 gold hits so there must be something I can learn from you..

I couldn't clear #2 off with 3 free hits.

Level 7 boss for me took 7 gold hits @ 38k/hit.

Level 6 boss 12 gold hits @ 47k/hit. oh and gold hit does 1.5x that of a free hit.

But I would have to agree - it will take gems later on. And some good strategy to get up to 20 or so. I'm at 15, about full health then will have at it to see if I can do it without him chasing tail. Might consider gems (had 10, used it but only filled half health), then again may not. We shall see.
